Happy Frigid Sunday!

Hello crafters! I've been trying to post on here for a while and this blogger didnt seem to be working. Lets give it a whirl.... So I spent a great Saturday playing with my kids, took them shopping, made a yummy dinner and did some crafting in between. Here is one project I made with Cricut vinyl and my cricut. Welded letters from Gypsy font, placed on the front glass of the frame and removed the cardboard from the back. Put a dot of hot glue in each corner before putting the glass back on and moved the fasteners again to 'seal' the glass in the frame. Waalaa!  I LOVE how this turned out. I made one for my parents with a different saying, of course. Maybe I'll post a pic of that one later. Enjoy!  Please leave comments. Love to hear from you!

Hello Crafty friends! So I decided tonight to try Shrinky Dinks with my very favorite PKS dies and stamps. They came out sooo adorable! I figured I'll use them for ornaments on my little tree and drink charms. I used the following for a Christmas countdown calendar I have had for years. My kids lost the little bear that's supposed to be moved so I made a winter snow friend. Fits perfectly!! I'm going to try and start my Christmas cards asap. Hope to post a few. Have a wonderful evening all!!  Hope you enjoy

These little guys I put on name tags for workers. Little charms that add Christmas spirit. Just a little something. LOVE the way they turned out. I think I'll use the next batch for charms on ribbon for gift wrap.  Merry Christmas All!!

Thankful treats

Hello crafty friends! I have been a busy little crafter these past 2 days making things for my boys classes and teachers. Hope you enjoy! I had so much fun making them.

For these 2, I cut the tag from Wrap it Up at 3.5", The leaves were cut from I believe Create a Critter, various sizes. I inked up the leaves & tag with Tim Holtz distress inks. Wrapped a patterned paper around a plastic jar (I got from Michael's, they come in a pack of 3 for 9.99- of course used a 40% coupon). Filled with Hershey Nuggetts.

This is the top of the leaf jar

This turkey is cut from Create a Critter. He's so easy to layer!!  and of course I LOVE my PKS!  (critter faces ) I am still in search of a great white pen to color in those eyes. I have a Gelly Roll from PKS but the tip isnt too fine for the little edges.

These are the nuggetts I filled the jars with. I printed the sentiment on return address labels along with the turkey on clear labels! adhered to a strip of patterned paper cut at 1 x 3". Wrapped around the nugget and adhered with my ATG. My new favorite favors!  I did play around with other patterned paper for different occasions and heart paper looked so cute with the milk chocolate nuggets! Must be the silver paper

This tag is just a little acorn from Create a Critter. Ran it through my cuttlebug and inked it up a little. The tag is 3 x 3". Patterned paper to wrap the little box. It's laldybug push pins for my son's teacher. She LOVES ladybugs.

I hope you enjoyed my little creative frensy! Leave a comment, I'd love to hear from you! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving is approaching!

Hello friends! I had a little time to get some Turkey Day cards made and a few other projects. I hope you enjoy! The recipes follow.

this bear was cut from Campin Critters. The card base is 6 x 6. I printed the sentiment on my computer and used one of my EK Success punches (I think it's called realtor)
This one I think is my favorite!! I cut the leaves at different sizes and then inked them with Tim Holtz distress ink pads.  (the green and red are from the limited edition Christmas set... LOVE it!) cut the banner from  From My kitchen cartridge, inked that with tea dye and used My Creative Time Stamps (fun in the sun and word accents)
I used a tin bucket from Targets dollar bin and decoupaged patterned paper to it. Some tool to tie the bow and I made a little rosette, used MCT scallop circle die and All Around Halloween stamps. Colored it with my Martha Stewart markers.
This last card is cut from I believe simply charmed cricut cartridge. I used some twine from my stash and a metal word frame. Orange brads to embellish a little.

Thank you for visiting! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!

My Creative Time's throwback Thursday Challenge

Hello friends!
Time again for My Creative Time's throwback thursday challenge (episode 270). Check out the details here.
I decided to do an 8 x 8 layout. I used Baby Steps CC for the babies and designers calendar for the playdate see-saw. I cut everything at 3". I also used My Creative Time stamps and of course PKS. Thought I'd do something a little different with the sun so I made a rosette. Cut a strip at 1" x 8.5". accordion folded it and wala. I used Emma's die cut stitched circle.

Thanks for visiting! Please come again!
